Colorful Posters
The Colorful collection records ten occasions when colour declined to remain in its assigned role. Here, the FIFUFA World Coupe Tournament Mexico 1970 sits near a courier entrusted with forgotten colours, while Marta Werweiss receives the retrospective that history had apparently postponed. There are bicycles, triangles, flowers and a flea breeders convention with a regrettably international remit. Each Colorful poster is assembled from archival photographs, paper scraps and typographic leftovers, preserving the visual evidence with due seriousness. The results belong to a cultural history of uncertain accuracy, where a poster about a poster was considered a reasonable administrative development. Ten posters. Several chromatic incidents. No official correction has survived.
