Typography Posters

The Typography collection gathers 23 posters from the period when letters briefly assumed they could organise public life. Festival notices, sporting proclamations, retrospective announcements and small administrative crises appear in carefully assembled archival fragments. Here, type is not merely used. It is given a job, a date and, in several cases, an implausibly confident committee. The FIFUFA tournaments sit alongside reasonable motorcyclists, forgotten colours and a penguin with an unresolved bill. These Typography posters record a cultural history of uncertain accuracy, in which every headline seems to have survived a different institution. The event may or may not have happened. The typography kept the minutes.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in the Typography collection?
The Typography collection contains 23 graphic art poster prints. Its evidence includes sporting tournaments, jazz festivals, literary accidents, municipal advice and several animals with administrative difficulties. Each poster uses collage, archival material and typographic leftovers to document an event from ASC’s cultural history of uncertain accuracy.
What sizes are available for Typography posters?
Typography posters are available in A0, A1 and A2. All formats are vertical: A0 measures 84.1 × 118.9 cm, A1 measures 59.4 × 84.1 cm, and A2 measures 42 × 59.4 cm. This is sufficient territory for a misplaced proclamation or a carefully preserved doubt.
What paper are the Typography posters printed on?
Each Typography poster is produced on Premium Matte Paper, 200 gsm (80 lb). The paper is FSC-certified or equivalent, acid-free, smooth and non-reflective. It gives the layered paper fragments, photographs and letterforms a clear surface, without introducing unnecessary glare into the historical record.
How are Typography posters delivered?
ASC uses local printing partners in 22 countries and produces each order as close as possible to its destination. Delivery usually takes 3–4 business days within the local production network and 4–12 business days elsewhere. Worldwide shipping is free, with shipping costs integrated into product prices. Returns are accepted within 14 calendar days of arrival; customs duties may apply in rare cross-border cases.
